Our work

Nine water points, one dry season

Food gets the attention. In Zaria between March and May, water is the thing that actually keeps a colony alive — and it is the cheapest intervention we run.

TODO(club): article bodies will be authored in Sanity as portable text and rendered here. This page is the layout they will land in.

Every rescue story on this site follows the same shape, because it is the shape that actually persuades people: what we found, what we did, and where the animal is now. Three moments, three photographs, rarely more than five hundred words.

What we found

The report came in through the welfare form on this website, which is the route we ask people to use for anything that is not an emergency. It reached the Welfare Director within seconds and a volunteer was on site the same evening.

What we did

Treatment was arranged through our veterinary partner and the club covered the cost — which is precisely what donations to the veterinary care fund pay for.

Where things stand

This is the part readers actually want, and the part most welfare organisations forget to write down.
